BJP Readies for Electoral Battle with Charge Sheet Against Hemant Government

State BJP Launches Offensive Against Ruling Alliance in Ranchi

BJP to present a detailed report on Hemant government’s alleged corruption and failures as elections near.

RANCHI – The State BJP is gearing up for a formidable campaign against the ruling alliance in Ranchi as the Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha elections approach.

State BJP chief Babulal Marandi, in a strategic move, has announced the preparation of a charge sheet against the Hemant Sarkar government.

This charge sheet, marking the completion of Hemant government’s four years on December 28th, aims to expose its alleged failures, corruption, and deceit.

Marandi, a former Chief Minister, has formed a five-member committee led by ex-IPS Dr. Arun Oraon for this purpose.

Committee members Shivpujan Pathak, Yogendra Pratap Singh, Ravinath Kishore, and Sunita Singh will assist in this endeavor.

Marandi’s allegations against Congress leader Dheeraj Sahu, describing him as the epitome of corruption, intensify the political atmosphere.

He asserts that the Congress party’s legacy of corruption has been evident since 1947, with Sahu playing a pivotal role.

The BJP’s annual tradition of highlighting the state government’s failures is set to continue, with a focus on presenting clear data to the public.

Meanwhile, Left parties, including CPI(M), CPI(ML), and others, have demanded government action against Dheeraj Sahu following the discovery of substantial undeclared assets.

They emphasize the need for unbiased legal action against corruption, irrespective of party affiliations.

However, these parties also accuse the BJP of exploiting the situation for political gain, highlighting the party’s alleged financial dealings with corporate houses.

The Left’s statement on the BJP’s economic-political corruption strategies further adds to the complexity of the political landscape in Ranchi.
