Jharkhand Sikh Ratan Awardee Dr. K S Sidhu Inaugurates Health Facility in Gamharia
Gamharia Gurudwara’s new free dispensary, led by Dr. Amarjeet Singh, promises accessible healthcare in the region.
JAMSHEDPUR – The Gamharia Gurudwara Committee, in a significant step towards community welfare, unveiled the Bhai Kanhaiya Ji Free Dispensary within its campus.
A notable ceremony marked the inauguration, featuring Dr. Kirpal Singh Sidhu, a recipient of the Jharkhand Sikh Ratan Seva Award, who performed the ribbon-cutting.
His wife, Kiranjit Kaur, along with other dignitaries, including Dr. Amarjeet Singh, President of C GPC, Bhagwan Singh, and Sardar Shailendra Singh, were also present to grace the event.
The occasion saw the felicitation of several key figures with shawls, acknowledging their contributions to the community.
Dr. Amarjeet Singh’s commitment to serve daily from 8 to 10 am at the dispensary stands as a testament to the sustained health efforts planned.
C GPC President Bhagwan Singh and Chairman Sardar Shailendra Singh extended their heartfelt thanks to the Gamharia Gurudwara for spearheading this charitable initiative.
Additionally, they expressed gratitude towards the management committee and Sadh Sangat for their support.
The event was attended by many prominent community members, including the heads of the Gamhariya Gurdwara Committee and representatives from Stree Satsang Sabha, showcasing widespread community involvement.
