Champai Soren Retorts BJP’s Advice on Retirement, Lists Jharkhand Development Achievements

Seraikela MLA and Minister Blasts BJP State President Babulal Marandi Over Sankalp Yatra, Highlights Current Development in the State

Champai Soren dismisses retirement advice from BJP leaders, asserting accomplishments in Kolhan’s health facilities and job creation under the current administration.

JAMSHEDPUR – Seraikela MLA cum Minister Champai Soren has lashed back at BJP leader Ganesh Mahali’s suggestion that he retire due to old age.

Soren claims to be a ground-rooted leader in the Seraikela area, drawing parallels to late Kolhan agitation leader Devendranath Champia.

He criticized the Sankalp Yatra led by BJP State President Babulal Marandi, calling attention to Marandi’s irony of being from a party that has had five governments in the state who now claims Jharkhand lacks development.

Soren also attacked the BJP on its governance record, noting that most factories were closed during Raghubar Das’s tenure without any effort to reopen them.

He cited the example of land acquisition for Abhijeet Steel during Arjun Munda’s term as Chief Minister; a project that has remained idle and unopened.

Contrastingly, Soren outlined various accomplishments in his tenure, such as establishing year-round farming and enhancing health facilities in Kolhan.

ICU facilities have been reinstated in Sadar Hospital, and a 25-bed hospital has opened.

He mentioned that 75 percent of local employment and permanent jobs across departments are now a reality under Chief Minister Hemant Soren.

Soren said that new medical facilities have been introduced in Kuchai and Gamharia, challenging BJP’s claims of underdevelopment in the state.
