Sawan Holy Month Sees Tata Workers Union Organising Bhajan Sandhya

In the auspicious month of Sawan, Tata Workers Union held a special Bhajan Sandhya, distributing Mahabhog to the followers.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Tata Workers Union (TWU) Kawariya Sangh organised a spiritual evening, ‘Bhajan Sandhya,’ on August 2nd, amid the holy month of Sawan.

The evening ended with the distribution of ‘Mahabhog’ to the followers.

The gathering was graced by TV Narendran, MD and CEO of Tata Steel, Sanjeev Kumar Choudhary, President of the TWU, and Shailesh Kumar Singh, Deputy President. Satish Kumar Singh, the TWU’s general secretary and patron of the Kawariya Sangh, honoured Narendran during the event.

Several prominent Tata Steel representatives including Debashish Choudhury, Tata Steel’s principal executive officer; Rajiv Mangal, vice president of safety; Peeyush Gupta, vice president of steel marketing; Chanakya Chaudhary, vice president of corporate services; Chaitanya Bhanu, vice president of steel manufacturing; Ritu Raj Sinha, managing director of TSUISL (JUSCO); Vinit Kumar Shah, chief of manufacturing for long products at Tata Steel; and Sanjay Sahn were honoured by The Tata Workers Union Kawariya Sangh.

Other Tata Worker’s Union’s officers including vice president Shahnawaz Alam, assistant secretary Ajay Kumar Choudhary, vice president Sanjeev Tiwary, treasurer and accountant Hari Shankar Singh, vice president Sanjay Singh, and assistant secretary Nitesh Kumar, were also warmly welcomed and given gifts.

The event also saw the presence of RBB Singh, Raghunath Pandey, PN Singh, and Rakeshwar Pandey.

Renowned singer, Indu Sonali, enhanced the spirit of the Bhajan Sandhya with her melodious voice, singing songs like "Satyam Shivam Sundaram," "Bhole ji ko Bhave Bail Patiya," and "Kailashi". The event brought a joyous, spiritually uplifting experience for everyone present.
