Dr. Nagendra Singh’s free health camp in Dumaria aids 226 people, uncovers serious ailments and provides necessary medical aid.
JAMSHEDPUR – Dr. Nagendra Singh, Surgeon at Ganga Memorial Hospital, organized a free health check-up camp in Dumaria.
The camp served a total of 226 people from the Sabar community across Rangamatia, Kendua, Lakhaidih, Dampabera, and Atanabera.
Among the attendees, 27 were found to have significant health issues.
One two-year-old child presented with an abnormally large skull.
Other members of the community were diagnosed with tumours and stones.
Surjamani Sabar, who had a neck tumour for 13 years causing severe difficulty in eating, underwent surgery for the removal of the tumour.
22-year-old Rahni Sabar had kidney stones which were removed.
57-year-old Sonia Sabar had a successful ovarian cyst removal surgery.
Two-year-old Akash Sabar was diagnosed with hydrocephalus, characterized by an unusually large head, and has been put under medication under a neurosurgeon’s supervision.
Notably, Dr. Nagendra Singh is known for providing free medical care, including surgeries, along with lodging, food, and transportation for those unable to afford it at Ganga Memorial Hospital on Dimna Road in Mango.
Moved by the condition of patients from these five Sabar villages, Dr. Singh made a spontaneous decision to adopt them and provide free medical care whenever needed.
