JAC 8th Result 2023: Koderma District Tops the List with 98.25%

Jharkhand Academic Council has released the 8th Board examination results for 2023, showing a high success rate of 94.94%. Koderma district topped the list with a result of 98.25%.

RANCHI – The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) released the results of the eighth board examination for 2023 on Saturday.

An impressive 94.94% of students passed the examination, with 515,688 out of the 543,164 participants being successful. A total of 562,564 students had registered for the examination.

Unfortunately, 26,298 candidates failed to pass the exam. Jharkhand Academic Council President, Dr. Anil Kumar Mahato, officially released the results.

For the students who were unsuccessful in the Class VIII board examination, the Jharkhand Academic Council has offered an additional opportunity.

A special examination will be conducted by the council, with the guidelines in this regard to be issued soon. The special examination is expected to be held in July.

Koderma district emerged as the top performer in the eighth board examinations, similar to the matriculation results. Out of the 15,186 candidates who took the exam from Koderma, 14,920 were successful, leading to a high pass percentage of 98.25%. In contrast, Gumla district had the lowest results, with a pass percentage of 88.66% – 16,357 out of the 18,450 candidates from the district were successful.

– Koderma: 98.25%

– Hazaribagh: 97.83%

– Godda: 97.77%

– Chatra: 97.22%

Palamu: 96.95%

– Seraikela-Kharsawan: 96.88%

– Giridih: 96.24%

– Ranchi: 96.15%

– Garhwa: 96.14%

– Dhanbad: 95.99%

– Ramgarh: 95.89%

– Bokaro: 94.86%

Dumka: 94.72%

– East Singhbhum: 94.35%

– Deoghar: 93.46%

– Simdega: 92.92%

– Jamtara: 92.24%

– West Singhbhum: 92.14%

– Sahebganj: 92.07%

– Khunti: 91.99%

– Latehar: 90.89%

– Pakur: 90.46%

– Lohardaga: 90.28%

– Gumla: 88.86%

The Class VIII board examinations were conducted in April this year.
