Chaibasa: The Union Home Minister Amit Shah reached Chaibasa on Saturday as part of his two-day Jharkhand tour. He addressed a public meeting there. He also advised BJP workers to work hard for the 2024 parliamentary elections.

Many bigwigs of BJP were present on the stage. This program was organized at Tata College ground in Chaibasa.

The Union Minister Arjun Munda, the former Chief Minister cum National Vice President of BJP Raghubar Das, Jamshed MP Bidyut Baran Mahato, BD Ram, Sanjay Seth, Sunil Singh, Sameer Oraon, Sunil Soren, PN Singh, Nishikant Dubey, Sudarshan Bhagat, Aditya Sahu, Ranchi Mayor Asha Lakra, former State President Dineshanand Goswami and other leaders were also present.

While addressing the public meeting, the Union Home Minister Amit Shah fiercely targeted the Hemant government.

Shah said that Hemant Soren’s government of Jharkhand has destroyed Jharkhand.

He said that Hemant Soren government is anti-tribal.

He said that the poverty of the whole of India can be eradicated from Jharkhand, but it could not happen.

He added: “When our government was here, our government had started work on schemes like education, health, electrification, but then a government came which destroyed the state. Atal ji had fulfilled the demand to separate the state from Bihar.”

He said that the Chief Minister of this state belongs to the tribal community, but he is not working in the community’s interests.

Assailing the state government, he said that corruption is at its peak in the state. The tribal land has been forcibly looted.

He asked: “Whose responsibility is it to protect the state from infiltrators? Is it theirs or not?”

He then said: “What he is doing to the mothers and sisters here for his vote bank, the public will not forgive him. He will get to see the result of this in 2024. Lotus will bloom in 2024.”

He said that in the name of jobs in the state youths have been cheated, while tribals have been cheated in the name of Khatian.

Shah said that we have made a tribal woman the President. Draupadi Murmu ji is the President of the country today. This is the first time that a tribal has been given this post.

At the same time, he said that the Hemant government has allowed sale and grabbing of tribal land. He charged that the Soren government is working to allow the infiltrators to usurp the land belonging to the tribals.

He said, “This government has done only and only corruption. This time (in 2024) there will be a change in Jharkhand.”

While addressing the public meeting, the leader of Opposition Babulal Marandi said that even today people are being forced to drink red and muddy water. Development is a far cry in Jharkhand. The present government does not worry about the people but about itself. He said that the CM worries about his family. Today there is a government that is looting the state, he said.

The Union Minister Arjun Munda also addressed the public meeting.
