The condition of MGM College & Hospital needs urgent attention of the state government, especially the Health Minister Banna Gupta himself.
Being a referral hospital, it is too important to be left to the current establishment of the hospital. More than funds, the hospital needs efficient management.
Expecting doctors, nurses and employees of the hospital to do what definitely requires an engineering feat will not amount to much.
Doctors and nurses can provide good medical care. However, they need good infrastructure too, to deliver the desired results.
The fact that rainwater enters the burn ward of the hospital is too stark to be ignored.
The government and the health ministry must ask the top engineers to solve the issue of rainwater entering the hospital.
This problem needs to be solved forever.
