A family was attacked and 4 family members, including children, were grievously injured by a neighbour when the latter was warned not to peep into house. The incident occurred in Azad Basti at Telco on Friday.
Jamshedpur: In Azad Basti under the jurisdiction of Telco police station, a family was attacked with sword and rods by their neighbour when the latter was warned not to peep inside the house.
According to sources, the neighbor attacked him with a sword, rod and helmet, injuring four members of the same family.
All the seriously injured were brought to MGM Hospital for treatment and are being treated.
A seriously injured member of the family said that he had forbidden his neighbor D Mahato to peep inside his house.
He said that soon after this, D Mahato and his family members entered the house and attacked him.
He told that apart from Rakesh Kumar, his wife Sunita Devi, daughter Manisha Kumari and son Pankaj Kumar have suffered serious injuries in the attack.
Rakesh Kumar says that the attackers even broke his teeth.
On the other hand, Telco police reached the hospital on Friday after receiving information after the incident.
The police are investigating the matter.
