Kolhan DIG tours city, inspects Telco police station

Jamshedpur: The DIG of Kolhan Rajeev Ranjan Singh toured Jamshedpur on Thursday. During his tour to the city he reached different areas and inspected Telco police station. He also issued instructions to give priority to resolving problems relating to general masses.

It may be added that the crime graph has been rising in several areas in the city. The DIG himself carried out an inspection of Telco police station and issued requisite instructions to the police officers.

During his inspection, he reached Telco police station and sought information about the progress in several pending cases.

He said that inspection at police stations can reveal the administrative effectiveness at the police station level.

Regarding the rise in the cases of suicide in the city, he said that families would have to come forward to prevent suicides and self-harms.

He said that the young generation is prone to suicide as they, for some reason, find themselves separated from family and there is no one to guide them when they need help.

He said that special drives should also be launched to help people fight mental illnesses.
