PM Modi’s Dhanbad Visit to Mark Major Industrial Milestone
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the Sindri unit of Hindustan Urvarak Rasayan Limited (HURL) in Dhanbad, a significant step in India’s industrial growth. This visit, scheduled for January 27, follows his 2018 foundation stone laying for major projects, underlining his commitment to enhancing the country’s industrial infrastructure.
RANCHI – The BJP state president, Babulal Marandi, organized a preparatory meeting for Modi’s upcoming visit, involving key political figures.
In Dhanbad, a public event will feature Prime Minister Modi, highlighting the significance of the HURL Sindri inauguration.
BJP general secretary Pradeep Verma confirmed the PM’s program at Balliapur Airport’s premises, drawing attention to the anticipated public gathering.
The HURL Sindri’s ambitious production goal is set at 11.75 lakh metric tons annually, showcasing India’s growing industrial capabilities.
Every day, the Sindri facility aims to produce 2250 tons of ammonia and 3850 tons of urea, marking a major boost in agricultural support.
The Sindri unit’s first commercial shipment to Babadham (Deoghar) commenced in November last year, kickstarting operations of this grand initiative.
PM Modi’s visit to Dhanbad is not just an inauguration but a revival of the historic Fertilizer Corporation India (FCI) Sindri, closed since 2002.
This event marks a significant resurgence in the industrial landscape of Jharkhand, with Modi leading the charge since laying the foundation in 2018.
The inauguration of HURL Sindri is part of Modi’s larger vision for India’s industrial development, a project collectively worth over Rs 18,000 crores.
The visit also commemorates the Prime Minister’s continuous efforts to enhance the nation’s industrial infrastructure, tracing back to the foundation stone laying for projects in Jharkhand, Bihar, and Uttar Pradesh.
