Odisha Governor Raghubar Das graces Deepotsav at Jamshedpur’s Surya Dham, his first visit since assuming office.

Jamshedpur’s Surya Dham complex celebrated Deepotsav with grandeur, lighting 11,000 lamps, akin to the festivities in Ayodhya Dham.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Surya Dham complex in Jamshedpur echoed Ayodhya’s Deepotsav spirit, as it lit up with 11,000 lamps in a magnificent display.

This event, a yearly tradition, saw the presence of Odisha State Governor Raghubar Das, marking his inaugural visit to Jamshedpur since taking office.

Governor Das participated in the festivities by offering prayers at the temple and lighting lamps within the complex.

The Surya Dham was transformed into a spectacle of light, reflecting the celebrations traditionally seen in Ayodhya Dham.

The Sun Temple Committee, responsible for this annual event, ensures a grand replication of Ayodhya’s Deepotsav.

His Excellency Das extended Diwali greetings to all, drawing parallels between the celebrations at Surya Dham and those in Ayodhya.

He highlighted the nationwide joy of Diwali, commemorating Lord Ram’s return, and expressed elation over the nearing completion of the Ram temple in Ayodhya.

His visit and participation added a distinguished charm to the Deepotsav in Jamshedpur.
