Loyola Junior School Jamshedpur Marks 64th Annual Day with Unity, Merit Recognition

Loyola School’s Junior Section honors unity and human values at its 64th annual day, celebrates 179 meritorious students and long-service teachers.

JAMSHEDPUR – Loyola School’s Junior Section in Jamshedpur recently concluded its 64th annual day celebration. The event was marked by the recognition of exceptional students and reflections on the importance of values such as unity, cooperation, and goodwill in education.

Principal Fr. Vincent Vinod Fernandes underscored the importance of these values, alluding to the ideals of St. Ignatius and the Indian philosophy of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam”.

This concept envisions the world as one family, fostering peace and harmony.

Recognition of Merit and Service

The event celebrated the academic achievements of 179 students. Furthermore, it honored teachers Kavita Gabri and Ritu Asthana with the Jubilee Award for their commendable 25 years of service.

Special awards were also distributed. Kripa Bhatia received the SP Dubey Memorial Award, Aryan was bestowed the Chitrajit Ghosh Memorial Award, and Adhiraj Mitra bagged the Best Sports Student Award.

Event Highlights

The ceremony began with a prayer led by Rector KM Joseph. Principal Vincent Fernandes, Coordinator Father Gerald Ravi D’Souza, and Vice Principals Vinita Ekka and Jai Shree Sheshadri presented the awards.

The event was conducted by teacher Deepika Mukherjee, and Vice Principal Vinita Ekka gave the vote of thanks. Many parents and office bearers of the Alumni Association graced the occasion.
