Annual English Elocution-2024 at Carmel Junior College Celebrates Linguistic Brilliance

Students from Std. V to XII Showcase Exceptional Talents in Poetry, Storytelling, and Speech Delivery

Carmel Junior College witnessed a spectacular display of literary prowess and eloquence as the Annual English Elocution-2024 concluded with resounding success, featuring students from Std. V to XII participating in various categories.

JAMSHEDPUR – The school premises of Carmel Junior College came alive with an awe-inspiring showcase of oratory skills and creative expression during the Annual English Elocution-2024, as students from Std. V to XII demonstrated their exceptional abilities in poetry recitation, storytelling, declamation, and extempore speaking.

The event commenced with a solemn prayer and the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by esteemed dignitaries, including School Manager Sister Jyothi D’Souza A.C., Principal Sister Sharel A.C., Teacher Moderator Lily Siddhu, and Vandana Jain, one of the distinguished judges.

In the poetry reading category, Khusmeet Singh emerged as the triumphant winner, captivating the audience with his poetic prowess and emotive delivery.

Anusha Shri showcased her exceptional storytelling finesse in the Story Reading segment, transporting listeners to vivid realms through her immersive narrative style and captivating presence.

Hargun Bhatia’s oratory skills left an indelible impression on both judges and attendees alike during the speech contest, as he delivered a compelling and persuasive address that resonated deeply with the audience.

Vanshita Saini demonstrated remarkable spontaneity and eloquence in the impromptu speech event, crafting a stirring and thought-provoking address on a topic revealed mere moments before taking the stage.

The esteemed panel of judges, comprising educators Nandita Sinha, Vandana Jain, and Ashu Tiwary, expressed their admiration for the participants’ efforts and commended their outstanding performances.

Ashu Tiwary, in her address to the students, lauded their exceptional showcase of talent and encouraged them to strive for even greater heights in their future endeavors.
