Covid-19 kills one more in Jharkhand, total deaths 23, 76 new Covid-19 positive cases, total cases 3268, active 1035

Ranchi: One more person has died in Jharkhand due to Covid-19 taking the death toll in the state due to this disease to 23. The deceased was being treated at Medanta Hospital in Ranchi and he was a resident of Deoghar.

The deceased had got himself admitted for treatment of a heart ailment. However, he tested positive for Corona and ultimately succumbed to it.

Meanwhile, 76 more persons have tested positive for Covid-19 in Jharkhand. This takes the total number of infected persons in the state to 3268. However, 2210 persons have already been cured and therefore the number of active cases in the state till date is only 1035.

Corona is spreading very fast in. The state. Section 144 has been promulgated in many areas in Hazaribagh and Ramgarh.

On Wednesday, 78 new Covid-19 positive cases were found in Jharkhand.

Till date 1,67,650 samples have been tested in the state. Out of these 3268 have been found positive, while 2210 have ben cured. Today 76 new cases were found, 40 were cured and one died in Jharkhand.
