BKMS Announces Seraikela-Kharsawan District Committee, Sanjay Gorai Named President

New Committee Pledges to Fight for Workers’ Rights in Industrial Areas

GAMHARIA – The national leadership of the Bharatiya Kranti Kari Mazdoor Sangh (BKMS) announced the formation of its Seraikela-Kharsawan district committee on Saturday.

Sanjay Gorai has been entrusted with the responsibility of district president in the newly constituted committee. Umesh Mahato, Kunti Mahato, Manish Singh and Naresh Kumar have been named vice-presidents, while Rohit Pradhan, Renuka Mahato and Rupesh Gorai have been appointed as secretaries.

Rahul Kumar, Dhiren Mahato, Bittu Mahato and Naresh Singh have been designated as co-secretaries, while Lakshman Mahato, Dhananjay Mahato and Brij Jamuda have been named organizing secretaries. Raj Mahato has been appointed as treasurer, besides 16 other members who have been included in the working committee.

Following his nomination, newly appointed district president Sanjay Gorai expressed gratitude toward the organization’s national president Ajay Kumar Mahato, general secretary cum Dumri MLA Jairam Kumar Mahato and all office-bearers of the central committee.

He said the position was more than an honour for him, describing it as a responsibility to protect workers’ interests, fight against exploitation and strengthen the organization further at the grassroots level.

Gorai said BKMS would continue its relentless struggle for the rights, dignity, safety, fair wages, ESI and PF benefits of workers employed in the industrial areas of Seraikela-Kharsawan district, and would ensure compliance with new labour laws.

He added that the organization would stand firmly with workers in every legitimate fight concerning their interests.

Gorai congratulated all newly appointed office-bearers of the district committee and expressed confidence that the entire team would work with dedication to take the organization to new heights while safeguarding workers’ interests.
