Speeding Truck Runs Over Youth After He Fell From Bike Following Car Collision

GAMHARIA – Two youths riding a motorcycle died after a speeding truck ran over one of them late Tuesday night on the Tata-Kandra main road in Chhota Gamharia, near Nirmal Path, police said.
The bike had earlier collided with a car, throwing its rider onto the road. Moments later, a speeding truck ran over the fallen youth, killing him instantly. His companion, who was riding pillion, also died on the spot, according to local residents.
The second rider suffered severe injuries in the crash. Local people rushed him to Tata Main Hospital in an ambulance for emergency treatment.
However, the identities of both the deceased and the injured youth could not be confirmed at the time this report was filed. Chaos broke out at the accident site soon after the crash, and a large crowd gathered at the spot.
Meanwhile, Gamharia police reached the scene following information about the accident and seized both vehicles involved in the crash. The truck driver, however, managed to flee before police arrived.
According to residents, the deceased was identified as a resident of Bolaydih. Police are working to establish the identities of both youths involved in the accident.
Later details emerged identifying one of the deceased as Mohammad Nisar, 22, son of Mohammad Younus, a resident of Demdubi Ansarnagar under Kapali OP. The second deceased was identified as Mohammad Rehan, 18, of Gausnagar in Kapali.
Both youths were returning from Kandra after completing false ceiling work when the accident occurred, according to information shared by relatives.
