NIT Jamshedpur Concludes Five-Day ESDP Program

Institute Focuses on Auto Components for ICEs and EVs

JAMSHEDPUR – The National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur concluded a five-day entrepreneurship development program on auto components for domestic and export markets on February 16, 2026.

The Advanced Entrepreneurship Skill Development Program was titled “Scaling Success: Auto Components for ICEs and EVs in Domestic and Export Markets.” It was conducted over five days at the campus.

Meanwhile, the sessions examined prospects in internal combustion engine segments. They also explored expansion in electric vehicle manufacturing.

Moreover, experts discussed production scaling for component makers. They outlined export standards and compliance requirements.

However, participants received guidance on technology transitions in mobility. Supply chain management challenges were also reviewed.

In contrast, speakers highlighted India’s rapid EV adoption trends. They emphasized innovation-led growth strategies for startups.

On the other hand, the program addressed policy incentives for entrepreneurs. Market access in overseas regions was explained in detail.

Moreover, the initiative aimed to strengthen entrepreneurial skills among students. Researchers and aspiring founders also took part.
