JAMSHEDPUR – A pickup van carrying flour overturned near Sundarnagar canal bridge without any injuries reported.

The accident occurred Friday near Goradih canal bridge under Sundarnagar police limits in Jamshedpur.

Meanwhile, the pickup van lost control while attempting to climb a damaged road stretch and rolled backward into a pit.

Consequently, the vehicle fell nearly 20 feet below road level.

According to information, the van was transporting flour from Dhalbhumgarh to a market committee.

Moreover, the destination market committee is located in Parsudih.

The driver and two labourers were travelling inside the vehicle at the time of the accident.

However, no injuries were reported among the occupants.

According to local residents, the severely deteriorated road caused the vehicle to stall during ascent.

As a result, the pickup became unbalanced and overturned.

Meanwhile, nearby residents rushed to the accident site immediately and initiated rescue efforts.

Moreover, all three occupants were pulled out safely.

The vehicle owner Krishna Kumar Sharma reached the location soon after receiving information.

Meanwhile, he arranged another vehicle to transport the flour consignment.

Moreover, the flour was delivered safely to its intended destination.

However, efforts to recover the damaged pickup van are continuing.

After the incident, residents expressed anger over the poor condition of the road.

In contrast, locals demanded immediate repairs to prevent similar accidents.
