Three Arrested in Mango for Planned Revenge Attack

JAMSHEDPUR – Police arrested three individuals planning a criminal attack. Officers acted on intelligence received late Sunday night. Moreover, the suspects were preparing revenge for an earlier dispute.

The accused were identified as Danish Hussain, Rashid Ansari, and Gulam Khan. Mango police conducted a raid near Sarovar Hill Hotel. However, all three were apprehended before executing their plan.

A clash had occurred three to four days earlier. The incident took place in the Kapali OP area. In addition, several youths were involved in that confrontation.

Police received confidential information around 10 PM on Sunday. The tip indicated suspicious gathering near NH-33 location. Furthermore, sources suggested individuals with criminal backgrounds were assembling there.

Officers recovered one pistol from the arrested suspects immediately. A country-made firearm was also seized during the operation. Besides, police confiscated one live cartridge and a sharp weapon.

SSP Piyush Pandey confirmed Gulam Khan’s criminal history previously. Past cases link him to various illegal activities. On the other hand, investigations continue regarding his associates’ backgrounds.

The trio had planned to attack their rivals systematically. They selected the location for its strategic advantage carefully. Moreover, weapons were arranged specifically for this revenge operation.

Mango area has witnessed several criminal incidents recently. Police operations have intensified to prevent such activities. Meanwhile, surveillance increased in sensitive zones across the region.

Authorities presented all three accused before the court promptly. The judicial magistrate remanded them to custody immediately. Furthermore, investigations will reveal additional details about their network.

Intelligence gathering proved crucial in preventing this attack successfully. Modern surveillance techniques aided the operation significantly. In contrast, delayed action could have resulted in serious violence.

Local police continue monitoring criminal elements in the area. Regular patrolling has increased around NH-33 stretch considerably. Besides, checkpoints operate during late-night hours for enhanced security.
