Ministry of Power Honors Home Automation Solution at National Conference in New Delhi

NEW DELHI – Tata Power’s smart home automation brand EZ Home received recognition at the AI/ML National Conference on December 9, 2025.

The Ministry of Power organized the conference at Bharat Mandapam. EZ Home emerged as the sole winner in home automation. However, strong competitors included Genus, Schneider Electric, Blaze and Adani.

The Ministry’s initiative spotlights cutting-edge AI/ML-driven innovations nationwide. These solutions shape India’s power distribution sector fundamentally. Moreover, 195 applications were received from various stakeholders.

DISCOMs, AMISPs and technology providers submitted entries for evaluation. Home automation companies also participated in the competition. On the other hand, only 51 solutions reached detailed assessment stage.

EZ Home integrates home automation with smart meters effectively. AI/ML-based data analytics drives the comprehensive solution. In addition, the consumer-centric ecosystem enhances convenience significantly.

Safety and energy efficiency remain core priorities for Indian households. The platform offers Wi-Fi enabled smart switches and sensors. Besides, retrofittable modules work with existing home wiring seamlessly.

Universal IR controllers and smart plugs complete the product range. The intuitive EZ Home app provides centralized control capabilities. Furthermore, voice assistant compatibility enables hands-free device management.

Users monitor appliance-level consumption through the application. Daily routines become automated with intelligent scheduling features. Meanwhile, remote control functionality offers flexibility to users.

The system provides insights that optimize electricity usage patterns. Advanced AI/ML capabilities empower smarter energy decisions by consumers. Grid-interaction efficiency improves through this technology over time.

A distinguished jury evaluated all submitted entries comprehensively. NPTI representatives participated in the assessment process actively. Google India, Microsoft India and Meta India also contributed expertise.

SARVAM joined the evaluation panel for technical assessment. The jury appreciated EZ Home’s scalable design and energy-intelligent features. Potential for wider consumer accessibility impressed the judges significantly.

The Tata Power spokesperson stated that recognition reinforces corporate commitment. AI-led digital solutions elevate consumer experience across the board. India’s transition toward intelligent energy systems receives crucial support.

The company received recognition in AMISP category simultaneously. This marks another milestone in technology-driven solution development. Renewable energy initiatives complement automation advancements across portfolios.
