Under the scheme, consumers can avail subsidies of up to ₹1,38,000 for 3 kW rooftop solar units, including ₹60,000 from the state and ₹78,000 from the central government. This partnership ensures affordable, clean energy access, with Tata Power listed as a preferred solar partner by OREDA.

Enhanced Awareness and Local Engagement

Dr. Praveer Sinha, CEO & MD of Tata Power, stated, “This collaboration reflects our dedication to Odisha’s sustainable energy goals and the PM Surya Ghar Yojana.”

Focus on Key Cities

The program initially targets cities including Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Puri, and Sambalpur before expanding statewide. OREDA and Tata Power will work together to ensure smooth implementation through regular reviews and support for government agencies.
