NIT Jamshedpur Hosts National Industry-Academic Conclave

Third IAC 2025 Brings Together Leaders in Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneurship on December 12-13

JAMSHEDPUR – National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur will host the third Industry-Academic Conclave from December 12-13, 2025. The event aims to accelerate India’s innovation landscape significantly.

The conclave represents one of India’s premier technical conferences. It provides a shared platform for industry, research and education. Moreover, policy-makers will participate in discussions on technological self-reliance.

Padma Shri Ashok Bhagat will inaugurate the event. Director Prof. Gautam Sutradhar will join the ceremony. In addition, Dean of Research and Consultancy Prof. Satish Kumar will participate.

The program rests on four main pillars fundamentally. MSME collaboration forms the first pillar of focus. However, advanced research and technology receive equal emphasis.

Industry-based education framework constitutes the third pillar. Startup and entrepreneurship promotion completes the structural foundation. Besides, the conclave aligns with Viksit Bharat 2047 goals.

The advisory committee includes distinguished academic leaders nationwide. IIT Kharagpur and IIT Patna representatives will participate. Furthermore, IIT (ISM) Dhanbad joins the advisory panel.

Multiple NITs across India contribute to the initiative. National research laboratories provide crucial expertise too. On the other hand, CSIR-CIMFR and CMERI directors offer guidance.

IMMT leadership also supports the conclave actively. Tata Steel executives will attend as key participants. RSB Global and other industry groups strengthen organizational backing.

Industry-sponsored panel discussions will feature prominently throughout. MSME-academic integration requires detailed examination during sessions. Meanwhile, National Education Policy alignment demands focused attention.

Skill development strategies will receive comprehensive coverage. Climate-friendly technologies form another critical discussion point. Innovation frameworks support long-term national development goals.

The national hackathon promises exciting student participation opportunities. School and college model competitions will showcase creative solutions. Besides, waste-to-wealth concepts feature in competition themes.

Jharkhand art and culture models receive special attention. A dedicated session titled “Beyond the Glass Ceiling” addresses women leadership. Furthermore, “Women Redefining Leadership” explores gender dynamics comprehensively.

The conclave connects students with real-world technical challenges. Industries gain access to cutting-edge research capabilities. NIT Jamshedpur prepares India’s innovation ecosystem for global competition.
