SERAIKELA – Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren led BJP’s membership drive in Seraikela, visiting local booth centers to expand the party’s base.
The senior BJP leader visited Shakti Kendra No. 5 at Indra Tanti. He interacted with residents at booth numbers 350 and 351.
Moreover, Soren highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s growing popularity. “People have immense faith in Modi ji’s leadership,” a party insider remarked.
Opposition Strategy
Meanwhile, the BJP has accepted its role as the opposition party. The party will soon launch protests against the state government.
In addition, the membership drive aligns with BJP’s national strategy. The party achieved significant success in recent assembly elections in three states.
Local Support
Several local leaders attended the event. Among them were Kavita Das, the city membership in-charge, and Badri Daroga, the city president.
Furthermore, former municipal council chairperson Meenakshi Patnaik and social worker Sudeep Patnaik showed their support. Sanand Kumar Acharya, a former MLA representative, also participated.
