MEDININAGAR – A long-standing marital dispute was amicably resolved at the National Lok Adalat held in Palamu District Court on Saturday. The matter was settled under the supervision of Family Court Judge Sanjeev Kumar Das.
Resolution Through Mediation
District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Secretary Arpit Srivastava informed that the husband and wife had been entangled in a dispute for the past six months. The husband had filed a “Vidai Mukadma” (case for wife’s return) in the Family Court, seeking reconciliation.
With consistent efforts and counseling by the Family Court Judge, both parties agreed to resolve their differences. The couple decided to live together, symbolizing their reconciliation by exchanging garlands in the court premises.
Guidance for a Harmonious Life
Following the settlement, Judge Sanjeev Kumar Das advised the couple to live their married life with mutual love, trust, and harmony. He encouraged them to leave behind their grievances and focus on a peaceful future together.
The resolution marked a positive outcome, showcasing the effectiveness of the National Lok Adalat in settling sensitive family disputes through mediation and mutual agreement.
