JAMSHEDPUR – A violent clash erupted near Golmuri Refugee Colony on Tuesday over a financial dispute between two groups. The altercation intensified, leading to stone pelting, causing chaos in the area. Suraj Kalindi, a resident of Tuiladungri, sustained injuries during the incident.
Suraj Kalindi filed a written complaint against M Singh, M Kumar, and others from Golmuri Refugee Colony. According to Suraj, he was at a tea stall when he noticed a group of youths assaulting his friend. Suddenly, they turned on him and attacked him with a baseball bat.
Upon receiving information, Golmuri police arrived at the spot. However, both groups fled before the police could intervene. Police officials confirmed that the incident was a result of a personal dispute that escalated into violence.
Local residents expressed concern over the rising incidents of public clashes in the area. The police have initiated an investigation and assured strict action against the culprits.
