Following this, a special team was formed to investigate. Acting on a tip-off on December 1, police intercepted three motorcycles carrying six individuals on Chainpur-Saltua Road.

The arrested individuals confessed to working for Sujit Sinha’s gang. They admitted to planning another attack on a crusher owner in Karso. Police also recovered a stolen mobile phone linked to the earlier firing incident.
