Savita Mahato: A Beacon of Change

Savita Mahato’s win in Ichagarh marked a significant milestone as she shattered claims of being an outsider in the region.

Her resounding victory silenced critics, particularly AJSU and its supporters, who had labeled her as a non-local.

“Savita Mahato’s triumph is a victory for truth and the people’s wisdom,” said Sudama Hembram, a local JMM leader.

Celebrations erupted in Chandil, with JMM supporters taking out a grand procession, bursting crackers, and distributing sweets.

The leader of the procession, Dilip Kisku, emphasized that voters rejected opportunistic leaders and illegal practices, reaffirming faith in Mahato’s leadership.

A Historic Mandate

Savita Mahato called her victory a mandate for progress and unity.
