JAMSHEDPUR – Congress candidate Dr. Ajoy Kumar led a public outreach in Bhuiyandih and Tinplate areas on Tuesday.

Dr. Kumar met residents in Bhuiyandih, Kalyan Nagar, and Tinplate, addressing local concerns and assuring support for timely resolutions.

During the outreach, he attended a memorial event for tribal leader Kartik Oraon at Gyan Deep Ground in Birsanagar, paying respects on Oraon’s death anniversary.

In his tribute, Dr. Kumar noted Oraon’s enduring impact on the welfare and progress of the tribal community, emphasizing the importance of his legacy.

Dr. Kumar also highlighted recent efforts by the India Alliance for tribal welfare, including the passage of the Sarna Dharma Code Bill in the state assembly, aimed at recognizing tribal religious practices.

However, he criticized the national government for delaying its implementation, accusing it of insincere support for tribal causes. He asserted, “The tribal community understands these betrayals well.”
