Election Teams Gear Up for 2024 Assembly Polls

JAMSHEDPUR – District authorities have initiated training for key election monitoring teams in preparation for the 2024 Assembly Elections.

The training program targeted Flying Squad, Checknaka, and Video Viewing teams.

District Election Officer Ananya Mittal oversaw the comprehensive session.

PD ITDA Deepankar Chaudhary addressed the attendees at the district headquarters.

ADM Law and Order Aniket Sachan provided crucial guidelines to the trainees.

Officials stressed the importance of clean and fear-free elections.

Deputy Election Officer Priyanka Singh also supported the training initiative.

The Flying Squad Team received instructions on expenditure control measures.

Moreover, they were briefed on the Model Code of Conduct implementation.

The C Vigil App was highlighted as a tool for reporting electoral malpractices.

Checknaka Team members learned to monitor suspicious cash transactions.

They were also trained to identify anti-social elements carrying illegal weapons.

Furthermore, the Video Viewing Team received specific task-related guidelines.

The training aimed to ensure all teams can maintain electoral integrity.

A senior official remarked, "This training is crucial for a transparent election process."

On the other hand, the teams face challenges in implementing these measures effectively.
