JAMSHEDPUR – Former MP and senior Congress leader Dr. Ajoy Kumar inaugurated a Durga Puja pandal, emphasizing the festival’s importance in promoting women’s respect and empowerment.
The inauguration took place at the Golmuri Circus Ground on Friday.
During the event, Dr. Kumar extended his blessings to the people of Jharkhand.
"May Shakti Swaroopa Ma Durga bless all with happiness, peace, and prosperity," he said.
Moreover, the Congress leader emphasized the significance of Navratri in celebrating the nine forms of Ma Durga.

He specifically mentioned the Maiya Samman Yojna, which has supported around 48 lakh women in Jharkhand.
