Tata Main Hospital Noamundi Celebrates World Heart Day

Three-day event focuses on heart health awareness and community outreach

JAMSHEDPUR – Tata Main Hospital (TMH) Noamundi marked World Heart Day with a series of events promoting heart health and community wellness.

The hospital organized awareness sessions on September 27th and 28th.

These sessions focused on the theme "Use Heart for Action."

Security department employees attended the first session at JRDTTI Auditorium.

Discussions covered lifestyle diseases, heart attacks, and preventive measures.

Another session was held for contract employees at TMH-Noamundi’s OHC.

Doctors from TMH-Noamundi conducted both interactive programs.

On September 29th, a community health camp was set up in Barabaljuri Village.

The camp, held at Ayushman Arogya Mandir, attended to 117 beneficiaries.

Patients ranged from pediatric to geriatric age groups.

Various health issues were identified, including hypertension and malaria.

Free medicines and basic blood tests were provided to all attendees.

Complicated cases were referred to TMH-Noamundi for further treatment.

The medical team noted a lack of health awareness in the village.

Dr. Tapas Sarangi, Dr. Ananya Pati, and Dr. Amala Sankar Chatterjee led the camp.

Villagers expressed satisfaction with the health camp services.

This initiative demonstrates TMH-Noamundi’s commitment to community health.

The events highlight the importance of heart health awareness and preventive care.
