Bus Driver Found Dead in Jamshedpur’s Sakchi Bus Stand; Family Suspects Murder

Vicky Mahto’s body was discovered by fellow drivers; family alleges foul play after seeing injuries.

A bus driver was found dead at the Sakchi bus stand in Jamshedpur, with his family suspecting murder due to visible injuries.

JAMSHEDPUR – The body of Vicky Mahto, a bus driver from Chakradharpur, was found at Sakchi bus stand early Tuesday morning.

The body was discovered around 6:30 AM by other drivers, who immediately informed the police.

Vicky Mahto had been residing at the bus stand while working as a driver.

After being notified, the police arrived at the scene and sent the body for post-mortem examination.

The police also informed Mahto’s family, who traveled from Chakradharpur to Jamshedpur.

Upon seeing the injuries on the body, the family alleged that Mahto was murdered.

The deceased’s brother, Sunny Mahto, stated that the police informed them of the death early Tuesday morning.

The family rushed to Jamshedpur and, upon seeing the injuries, suspected foul play.

The deceased leaves behind a wife and children who live in Chakradharpur.

Sakchi Police Station in-charge Sanjay Kumar confirmed the identification of the body and that the family has been informed.

The body has been placed in the MGM Hospital morgue.

Kumar mentioned that the injuries on the body suggest possible foul play, and the police are reviewing CCTV footage from the bus stand to proceed with the investigation.
