XLRI Jamshedpur Hosts Inaugural XOL Convocation

108 students graduate from online programs in Business, HR, and Finance

The event marks a significant milestone in XLRI’s commitment to innovative online education in management studies.

JAMSHEDPUR – XLRI Jamshedpur celebrated its first-ever Convocation for Online Learning (XOL) Programs, awarding diplomas to 108 graduates across three specialized fields.

The historic ceremony took place on August 17, 2024, at the prestigious Tata Auditorium.

Madhavi Lall, Managing Director and Head of HR for India at Deutsche Bank, graced the event as the Chief Guest.

The convocation celebrated graduates from three distinct programs:

Distinguished Speeches

T. V. Narendran, Chairman of XLRI, delivered a warm welcome address.

Fr. S. George, S.J., Director of XLRI Jamshedpur, officially inaugurated the ceremony with the traditional lamp lighting.

Madhavi Lall, in her address, encouraged the graduates to be ambitious and compassionate leaders.

She stated, "Your generation has the potential to change the world for the better, and I have no doubt you will do just that."

Academic Achievements

Dr. Sanjay Patro, Dean of Academics, presented academic medals to outstanding students:

2. Varsha Singh – PGDM (Human Resource Management)

3. Mehul Vipin Parekh – PGDM (Finance)

Prof. Dipankar Bose, Associate Dean of XOL Programs, provided a comprehensive report on the program’s accomplishments.
