Sundarnagar Police Launch Anti-Drug Drive in Remote Village

Education materials distributed to children as part of awareness campaign

Sundarnagar police initiate an anti-drug campaign in Bahardadhi village, focusing on community engagement to prevent substance abuse.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Sundarnagar police station launched an anti-drug campaign in Bahardadhi, a remote village in Keruwadungri Panchayat, aiming to create a drug-free community through awareness and education.

Police station in-charge Shankar Prasad Kushwaha led the Sunday event, urging villagers to actively work towards keeping the younger generation away from drug abuse.

The campaign included distribution of educational materials to village children, such as notebooks, pens, books, and stationery items.

This initiative demonstrates the police’s commitment to combating drug-related issues through community engagement and grassroots-level prevention.

By reaching out to remote areas like Bahardadhi, the campaign aims to foster a healthier environment for children and prevent drug abuse at its roots.

The presence of Panchayat head Kanhu Murmu and other local leaders showcased strong community support for the anti-drug efforts.

Villagers were motivated to play an active role in creating a drug-free environment for their community.

The distribution of educational materials serves as a practical approach to engage children positively and promote learning.

This outreach program highlights the importance of targeting remote areas in comprehensive anti-drug strategies.

The Sundarnagar police’s efforts underscore the significance of community-police partnerships in addressing social issues.
