The school’s Jyoti and Health and Hygiene Club organized a thoughtful initiative to celebrate Doctor’s Day.

JAMSHEDPUR – Kerala Samajam Model School (KSMS) marked Doctor’s Day with a heartwarming gesture, recognizing the contributions of medical professionals among its parent community.

The Jyoti and Health and Hygiene Club of KSMS spearheaded the initiative, encouraging students to create personalized tokens of appreciation for their doctor parents.

Principal Nandini Shukla supported the event, stating, "This activity helps our students understand the value of healthcare workers in our society."

Students crafted handmade cards, infusing them with personal messages of gratitude and admiration for their parents’ dedication to healthcare.

The cards were accompanied by chocolates, adding a sweet touch to the gesture of appreciation.

Club moderators Sneha Kumari, Prabhsimran Kaur, Navjeet Kaur, and Ritu Kumari guided the students throughout the activity.

"It’s crucial to instill a sense of respect and gratitude for healthcare workers in our children," remarked Sneha Kumari, one of the club moderators.

The initiative not only celebrated Doctor’s Day but also reinforced the importance of recognizing essential workers in the community.

Students expressed enthusiasm about the opportunity to show appreciation for their parents’ professional contributions.

This event aligns with KSMS’s ongoing efforts to foster a sense of community and social awareness among its students.

The school plans to continue such initiatives, promoting values of gratitude and respect among its student body.
