Students and faculty gather for seminar on adapting to global economic changes

A seminar titled ‘Adapting Business and Economy to Global Transformation’ was organized by the Business Administration Department at XITE Gamharia (Autonomous) on June 29, 2024.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Department of Business Administration at XITE Gamharia (Autonomous) hosted a seminar focusing on the theme of adapting business and the economy to global transformation.

The event saw enthusiastic participation from both students and faculty members.

Fr. (Dr.) Mukti Clarence, S.J., Vice Principal of XITE Gamharia, emphasized the significance of the theme in today’s competitive environment.

He congratulated the department for successfully conducting the seminar and encouraged students to engage in research to enhance their personal growth.

Prof. Amit Chaturvedi, the Head of the Department, welcomed attendees and outlined the seminar’s objective of educating students about the dynamic nature of the business world.

He also expressed gratitude to the faculty for their guidance in preparing student research presentations.

Dr. Sanchita Ghosh Chowdhury, in his introductory remarks, provided critical insights into the current business landscape and highlighted its relevance to the career prospects of management students.

Prof. Nishit Singh concluded the seminar with practical advice for the students.

Miss Shruti, a BBA Semester 3 student, delivered the vote of thanks, while Mr. Sagnik Mahata served as the Master of Ceremony.
