Residents Protest Illegal Construction in Dhatkidih, Demand Action

Residents Led by Aftab Ali Submit Memorandum to SSP Office

A group of Dhatkidih residents, led by Aftab Ali, went to the SSP office, urging action against unauthorized construction activities.

JAMSHEDPUR – The residents of Dhatkidih in the Bistupur police station area, led by Aftab Ali, came together to submit a memorandum to the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) office on Thursday.

Their main concern was the need for immediate action to be taken against illegal construction in their community.

Aftab Ali, a resident near Dhatkidih Radio Ground, raised concerns about the unauthorized construction taking place in front of the ground by a local person.

They claimed that this space was once utilized for community activities.

Even after previous complaints were made to the Bistupur police, the construction has continued without any interruptions, they said.

The residents are pleading with the SSP to acknowledge the problem and implement appropriate actions against the encroacher.

The construction that was not authorized has caused a disruption in the community’s ability to use the ground, which has traditionally served as a vital space for local activities.

Aftab Ali and the residents are hopeful that the intervention of the SSP will put a stop to the construction and allow the area to be restored for community use.

The memorandum submitted by the residents outlines their concerns and appeals for prompt action.

The protest brings attention to the ongoing concerns surrounding unauthorized construction and the importance of enforcing building regulations effectively.

While the residents eagerly await the SSP’s response, their dedication to advocating for the preservation of their community space remains unwavering.
