First Randomization of Officers Completed Under Supervision of District Election Officer

The district administration has commenced preparations for the vote counting of the 09-Jamshedpur Lok Sabha constituency. In a significant step, the first randomization of officers and personnel designated for the counting process was successfully completed under the supervision of District Election Officer Ananya Mittal.

JAMSHEDPUR – The district administration in Jamshedpur has begun preparations for vote counting in the 09-Jamshedpur Lok Sabha constituency.

The first randomization of officers for the counting process was successfully completed at the Collectorate, overseen by District Election Officer Ananya Mittal.

The list of assigned officers was securely locked following the randomization, adhering to stipulated guidelines.

Deputy Development Commissioner Manish Kumar and PD ITDA Dipankar Chaudhary were among the officials present during the process.

Mittal emphasized that the EVM and VVPAT machines used in the recent Lok Sabha elections have been securely stored in the strong room at the Co-operative College.

He assured that the vote counting will be concluded by June 4.

Mittal stated that the first randomization had been conducted in accordance with the Election Commission’s directives, involving officers assigned for vote counting duties.

He added that this was just the beginning, with two more rounds of randomization to follow.

The second randomization will be based on assembly segments, and the final randomization will be table-specific.

The vote counting is scheduled to commence at 8 AM, and meticulous preparations aim to ensure a smooth and transparent process.
