Jharkhand Bureaucrat Manish Ranjan Fails to Appear for ED Questioning

Inquiry Pertains to Alleged Commission Embezzlement in Rural Development Department

Manish Ranjan, a senior bureaucrat from Jharkhand, failed to appear at the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office for questioning regarding an alleged commission embezzlement case.

RANCHI – Manish Ranjan, the Jharkhand bureaucrat, failed to appear at the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office for questioning.

An employee delivered a letter from him, explaining why he couldn’t come to the ED office.

The reason he has given in the letter for not attending the inquiry is not yet clear.

The letter’s contents are unknown to Anil Kumar, the employee who delivered it, according to his statement.

During the tender in the rural development department, there was a case of commission embezzlement.

ED officials are interested in interrogating him regarding this matter.

At 11 am on May 24, he was asked to appear for questioning at the regional office of the central investigating agency.

A notice was sent to him on May 22.

Manish Ranjan was asked by ED to provide details of his and his family’s income and other assets in the notice.

However, Manish Ranjan was absent during the questioning.

The ED’s investigation focuses on alleged irregularities during the tender process in the rural development department.

The absence of Manish Ranjan at the scheduled inquiry has raised questions about the ongoing investigation.

The letter’s unknown contents add an element of uncertainty to the case.

The ED’s notice required detailed financial disclosures from Manish Ranjan and his family.

The inquiry is part of a broader investigation into financial irregularities within the rural development sector.

The ED continues to pursue the matter to uncover any potential misconduct.

The investigation remains ongoing as the ED seeks to gather more information.
