Tatanagar Railway Station Faces Passenger Inconvenience as LCD Screens Remain Non-Functional

Commuters Left Without Crucial Updates on Train Arrivals, Departures, and Platform Allocations; Station Director Pledges Prompt Action

Passengers at Tatanagar railway station found themselves grappling with difficulties as the LCD screens installed on the platforms failed to function, leaving commuters without access to vital information regarding train schedules and platform assignments.

JAMSHEDPUR – The non-operational LCD screens at Tatanagar railway station caused significant inconvenience to passengers who rely on the displayed information to navigate their journeys seamlessly.

The absence of real-time updates on train arrivals, departures, platform allocations, and potential delays left commuters in the dark, forcing them to seek alternative sources of information or rely on announcements, which may not always be audible amidst the bustling station environment.

Concerned about the plight of the passengers, inquiries were made to the railway station director regarding the non-functional LCD screens.

However, the director expressed unawareness of the issue, stating that the screens should be operational at all times to provide essential information to commuters.

The lack of awareness from the station authority raises questions about the monitoring and maintenance of the passenger information system, which plays a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and informed travel experience for railway users.

Upon being notified of the problem, the station director assured that swift action would be taken to address the matter promptly.

The director pledged to investigate the cause of the non-functional LCD screens and deploy necessary resources to restore the information display system to its intended functionality.

This assurance comes as a relief to passengers who have been grappling with the inconvenience caused by the absence of readily available travel information.
