Govind Vidyalaya Commemorates Tagore’s Contributions with Enthusiastic Cultural Showcase

Govind Vidyalaya celebrated Rabindra Jayanti, featuring captivating performances of Tagore’s works.

JAMSHEDPUR – Govind Vidyalaya in Tamolia held a lively Rabindra Jayanti celebration on Wednesday, May 8.

School Secretary Abhishek Sharma, Principal Krishna Modak, and Head of HOD Naushad Razia were present with students from classes 9 and 11.

Amreen Khan, a class 11 student, warmly welcomed the audience.

Class 11 student Adiba enthralled the attendees with Tagore’s beloved song, ‘Ekla Chalo Re.’

Students from classes 9 and 11 also staged a mesmerizing version of Tagore’s play, ‘Chandalika.’

The program reflected Tagore’s legacy and India’s cultural richness, directed by Naushad Razia and supported by Anju Kumari and Neeta Rani.

It was a fitting tribute to Rabindranath Tagore’s enduring influence.
