On Wednesday, Daltenganj saw a high of 38.6°C, with temperatures in other districts under 40°C.
Jamshedpur recorded a high of 34.5°C and a low of 19.2°C.
West Singhbhum was at 38°C, while Seraikela reported 36.3°C.
A storm warning was issued in several districts, with winds expected at 30-40 km/h.
The weather department advised residents to avoid trees or poles during storms.
On Thursday, winds could reach 40-50 km/h, with rain expected statewide.
District temperatures: Ranchi (33.8°C), Chatra (33.9°C), Dhanbad (31.5°C), Godda (33.6°C), Gumla (37°C), Hazaribagh (32.2°C), Jamtara (33.9°C), Khunti (34.9°C), Latehar (34.9°C), Lohardaga (36°C), Pakur (31.8°C), Palamu (38.2°C), Ramgarh (31.2°C), Sahebganj (32.2°C), Simdega (35.7°C).
No heat waves were reported anywhere, and people were urged to remain alert and cautious.
