Srinath University Hosts Successful Workshop on SPSS for Research Scholars

150 Participants from Esteemed Institutions Gain Insights into Data Management and Analysis

The School of Commerce and Management at Srinath University successfully concluded a two-day workshop titled ‘SPSS: An Introduction,’ which aimed to equip research scholars with essential skills in qualitative and quantitative data management and analysis.

JAMSHEDPUR – In a significant initiative to empower research scholars, Srinath University’s School of Commerce and Management organized a highly informative and engaging two-day workshop on ‘SPSS: An Introduction,’ attracting nearly 150 participants from prestigious institutions across the region.

The workshop, conducted by Dr. Kamala Kant Das, a distinguished research analyst from Paper Pedia Pvt Ltd., provided participants with intensive training on various aspects of the research process and the utilization of SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) for effective data analysis.

Dr. Das expertly guided the participants through the intricacies of research orientation, dynamics, and the application of statistical tools such as Factor analysis and hypothesis testing, equipping them with valuable knowledge and practical skills.

Dr. Mrityunjay Mahato, the esteemed Head of the Department of Commerce and Management, underscored the workshop’s significance in enhancing the research capabilities of the participants, expressing confidence that the acquired knowledge would greatly benefit their scholarly pursuits.

The workshop’s comprehensive curriculum was designed to cater to scholars from diverse fields, including Commerce, Management, Education, Humanities, and Science and Technology, ensuring a well-rounded and interdisciplinary approach to research methodology.

As the event drew to a close, participants were awarded certificates recognizing their dedication and successful completion of the workshop, marking a milestone in their academic journey.
