Arka Jain University Hosts Six-Day Workshop on Innovative Insurance Research

Workshop Focuses on Innovative Research Ideas in Insurance, Featuring Sessions by Dr. Amulya Mala

A six-day workshop on innovative research ideas in insurance was organized by Arka Jain University, featuring Dr. Amulya Mala of Topspot Insurance Banking Pvt. Ltd.

JAMSHEDPUR – Arka Jain University hosted a six-day workshop on innovative research ideas in the insurance sector via the Zoom platform.

The theme of the workshop was “Exploration of Innovative Research Ideas in the Field of Insurance”.

The resource person for the workshop was Dr. Amulya Mala, General Manager at Topspot Insurance Banking Pvt. Ltd.

Dr. Amulya Mala is a qualified Fellow of the Life Office Management Association (FLMI, LOMA, USA).

The workshop featured 12 technical sessions covering various key concepts in the insurance industry.

Topics included industry dynamics, current trends and challenges, enterprise risk management, and health insurance innovations.

There were also discussions on wellness economics and insurance, emerging insurance products, and annuities/longevity.

An in-depth discussion on pension schemes was also part of the workshop.

Dr. Amulya Mala highlighted the vast scope of research and job opportunities in the insurance sector.

All sessions in the workshop were highly interactive and engaging.

The concluding session saw attendance from top university officials including Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Easwaran Iyer.

The Chairman of the Board of Management, Prof. (Dr.) SS Razi, was also present.

Dean Student Welfare Prof. (Dr.) Angad Tiwari, Registrar Dr. Amit Srivastava, and Joint Registrar Dr. Jasbir Singh Dhanjal attended the session.

Certificates were distributed among all participants by Prof. (Dr.) Easwaran Iyer.

The workshop was conducted by Dr. Sonia Riyat, head of the research department at Arka Jain University.
