RANCHI – AJSU Ranchi University President Abhishek Shukla calls out severe teacher shortages in higher education institutions in Ranchi, impacting student access to education.
Abhishek Shukla, President of AJSU Ranchi University, has voiced serious concerns about the lack of faculty in state higher education institutions.
In a recent press release, Shukla highlighted that no new faculty vacancies have been announced since 2008 despite numerous retirements.
The persistent shortage of teachers is severely limiting opportunities for higher education among the youth.
Shukla accused the current state government of neglecting the educational needs of students and failing to meet its promises, including the provision of unemployment allowances.
He urged the government to take immediate steps to fill the vacant positions and warned that AJSU might initiate protests if actions are not taken promptly.
This situation raises significant concerns about the future of higher education in Ranchi and its effects on aspiring students and scholars.
