RANCHI – Jharkhand High Court mandates former CID DG’s court appearance over Sahibganj child trafficking investigation.

The direction for the CID DG to appear in court comes amid the hearing of a child trafficking case involving accused Kuldeep Shah and others.

This case is under scrutiny by a division bench comprising Justice Sujit Narayan Prasad and Justice Navneet Kumar.

Kuldeep Shah’s bail plea in connection to the child trafficking allegations was previously denied by the court.

During the latest hearing, the court addressed a request from the investigating officer for information on missing children, emphasizing the protection of personal data.

The High Court’s instruction highlights the judicial system’s commitment to thoroughly investigating child trafficking in Sahibganj.
