Jamshedpur Students Protest Exam Leak

Students Demand Justice Over Alleged Exam Leak in Jamshedpur

DBMS and JH Tarapore School students, alleging exam paper leak, seek promotion after facing discrimination in results.

JAMSHEDPUR – A group of students from DBMS English High School and JH Tarapore School, alongside their parents, approached Dhalbhum Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO), Parul Singh, with grievances over their exam results.

They claim an exam paper was leaked two days prior to the scheduled exam date of March 5, unfairly benefiting some students over others.

Possessing what they believe to be evidence of the leak, the students have called for their promotion to the next academic year.

One affected student, Jasraj, shared that despite assurances of communication from school authorities regarding a resolution, none has been forthcoming.

Accusations of favoritism and discrimination have been leveled against the schools, with claims that selected students were privy to the leaked exam contents.

This situation has raised alarms about potential unfair practices within private schools, including alleged collusion between some teachers and the examination department.

The students and their families are now seeking intervention from educational authorities to address their concerns and ensure fairness in the examination process.

This incident highlights the need for transparency and integrity in academic assessments, prompting calls for thorough investigations and corrective measures.
