Election Mascot VOTU Launched at the Event

In a grand gesture to promote voter participation, the Deputy Commissioner cum District Election Officer, Senior Superintendent of Police, and Deputy Development Commissioner cum SVEEP Senior launched the election mascot "VOTU" during the ISL match, in front of an audience of over 10,000 people.

VOTU, designed as a friendly and engaging character, aims to encourage citizens to exercise their right to vote and actively participate in the democratic process.

The launch of the mascot was accompanied by the slogan, "Votu is ready to vote, are you ready?" which served as a powerful call to action for the citizens of Jamshedpur.

The district administration also highlighted the upcoming voting day, May 25th, and encouraged first-time voters to participate using the hashtags #MyFirstVote and #JamKeVoteDalo.
