AJSU Secures Giridih Seat for 2024 Lok Sabha Polls

AJSU Party to Contest from Giridih, BJP Announces Jharkhand Candidates

In a strategic political move, the AJSU Party has been allocated the Giridih Lok Sabha seat in Jharkhand for the upcoming 2024 elections, currently held by MP Chandraprakash Chaudhary. The BJP national general secretary, Arun Singh, shared this update on social media, marking a significant moment in the state’s electoral preparations.

RANCHI – The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has unveiled its candidates for 13 out of 14 Lok Sabha seats in Jharkhand, leaving the Giridih constituency for its NDA ally, the AJSU Party.

This decision follows the announcement by the BJP’s national general secretary, Arun Singh, on social media, setting the stage for the AJSU Party to nominate its candidate for the Giridih seat.

Chandraprakash Chaudhary of the AJSU Party, the current Member of Parliament from Giridih, is at the center of this electoral strategy, emphasizing the party’s role in the National Democratic Alliance’s (NDA) plans for the state.

The BJP has confirmed its candidates across a broad swath of Jharkhand, featuring notable names such as Sita Soren from Dumka and Annapurna Devi from Koderma, among others.

This distribution of seats includes key figures like Geeta Koda from Singhbhum and Sanjay Seth from Ranchi, illustrating the party’s comprehensive approach to the upcoming elections.

Additional candidatures announced by the BJP encompass Arjun Munda from Khunti, Sameer Oraon from Lohardaga, and VD Ram from Palamu, reflecting a strategic mix of incumbents and new faces.

The list continues with Vidyutvaran Mahato from Jamshedpur, Kalicharan Singh from Chatra, and Dhulu Mahato from Dhanbad, showcasing the party’s depth of representation across the state.

Tala Marandi from Rajmahal, Manish Jaiswal from Hazaribagh, and Nishikant Dubey from Godda complete the BJP’s lineup for the Lok Sabha elections, underlining the party’s readiness for the electoral contest.

The allocation of the Giridih seat to the AJSU Party not only signifies a critical aspect of the BJP’s electoral alliance in Jharkhand but also sets the stage for a competitive political landscape in the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

According to a party insider, “This strategic seat allocation reinforces our alliance’s strength and diversity, ensuring a robust contest in the upcoming elections.”

A political analyst commented, “The distribution of seats between BJP and AJSU highlights the tactical alliances crucial for securing a majority in Jharkhand’s diverse political arena.”
